A Vision for Change

The welding industry has long been perceived as a male-dominated field. However, the Women Welding Fraternity Competition 2025, hosted by Fronius India in collaboration with C.V. Raman Global University, aimed to rewrite this narrative. From its inception, the goal was clear—to provide a platform for aspiring women welders to showcase their skills, inspire others, and bridge the gender gap in this critical industry.

From Planning to Execution: A Journey of determinationBringing this vision to life required meticulous planning, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to empowering women in welding. The journey began months ago with the formation of a dedicated team, comprising industry experts, educators, and mentors. Their task was to design a comprehensive competition framework that would not only assess welding proficiency but also encourage learning and skill enhancement.

Collaborating with various institutions, we identified talented women from across various institutions and industries. Training sessions, hands-on practice, and expert mentorship were integral parts of the preparation phase, ensuring that participants were well-equipped for the competition.

The Grand Competition: Showcasing ExcellenceAs the competition unfolded, the energy was electrifying. Participants demonstrated remarkable technical expertise, precision, and creativity across multiple welding categories. Their work reflected not just skill but also the passion and resilience required to excel in a field often dominated by men.

The event wasn't just about competing—it was about creating a community of skilled women welders, sharing knowledge, and celebrating each other's achievements. Industry professionals and mentors were in awe of the exceptional talent displayed, reinforcing the fact that gender is no barrier to excellence in welding.

A Defining Moment: The Prize Distribution Ceremony

The highlight of the event was the final prize distribution ceremony, where outstanding welders were recognized for their achievements. As winners were announced, the room was filled with applause, not just for those who took home trophies but for every participant who dared to challenge norms and step into a new era of welding.
